What’s usually a kiss of death to most restaurants, Sugarfish’s eye-popping expansion has continued to work because of Chef Nozawa’s unwavering integrity given to every piece of fish served. Case in point - the location in question - Sugarfish’s newest - is as good as ever (and so far, the wait for a table is shorter than average).

And at $30 for 7 different cuts of premiere sushi ($25 at lunch), this is the best deal in town for what you’re getting. End of discussion. And don’t come calling for your California or Boston rolls sweetheart, they’re not here. Sugarfish’s “trust me”-style menu leaves it all entirely in the hands of the chefs and that’s beautiful. You will receive your untampered sushi in the order that they see fit and you will eat it in the way they intend you to. Aka, keep that soy sauce far away.

Item Special Note

All orders are subject to a $.50 shipping and handling fee. This fee will be automatically added to your total purchase when the auction closes. Gift certificates will be sent via USPS or e-mailed if applicable. If you win an item and would like it mailed via certified insured mail, please email auction@friendsofwalgrove.com by March 12, 2020 and we will do so at your expense. If you would like to pick up an item, please contact us by March 13, otherwise we will ship your item.

Larger items can be picked up in Los Angeles, CA or shipped at the winning bidder's expense via USPS Priority Mail. $6 for large envelopes, $13 for medium boxes, $18 for large boxes. Some items do not fit into these categories and you will be notified. We will try to use the smallest package size we can. We will insure packages when shipping; however, Friends of Walgrove is not responsible for items lost in the mail.

Walgrove Community: Pick up option is available. The pick up dates at Walgrove Elementary are Friday, March 13 8am-10am and Tuesday March 24 5-7pm. Contact auction@friendsofwalgrove.com with questions.
