Item Description

RISD Continuing Education educates students of all ages in art and design with high quality, accessible programs, courses, lectures, and workshops. The $250 gift card can be used toward a RISD CE Young Artist (ages 6-17) or adult enrichment and professional development class.

Also included are a RISD CE tote bag, sketchbook, and other fun swag!

Founded in 1877, Rhode Island School of Design (or “RIZ-dee” for the acronym RISD) is one of the oldest and best-known colleges of art and design in the U.S. Each year approximately 2,300 students from around the world pursue a creative, studio-based education at RISD, which offers rigorous bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in 19 architecture, design, fine arts, and art education majors. The college is located in Providence, Rhode Island, which offers its own vibrant art scene and is conveniently located between two other major cultural centers: Boston and New York.

Item Special Note

$250 gift certificate is good for all or part of one of RISD/CE's Continuing Education courses. Can be used on a non-credit adult course or any Young Artist course.

Certificate cannot be redeemed for cash or be used as payment for courses taken in the past. RISD cannot replace misplaced gift certificates. There is no date limit for usage of the certificate and it is fully transferable for use by another student of the winner's choosing. To redeem the gift certificate, contact the front desk of the RISD/CE office. The certificate has no cash value.

Certificate comes with a RSID CE tote bag, sketchbook, and other fun swag. The winning bidder will be responsible for shipping and handling costs, in addition to the purchase price. Alternatively, the winner may arrange for a contact-free pick-up at the Discovery Museum’s administrative offices (183 Main Street, Acton, MA) Tuesdays-Thursdays, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Advanced notice required. An email with specific pick-up instructions will be sent with confirmation of date and time. All social distancing and face covering guidelines will be followed.
