Item Description

Free the Powder has donated a digital gift certificate in the amount of $119.90.  This is equivalent to 2 pairs of ski gloves at their current prices of $59.95 per pair.

“I have been an avid skier for over 35 years and without a doubt these are the best ski gloves I have ever owned.  I have outfitted my entire family of 4 with several pairs of FTP ski and MTB gloves. We have replaced our entire Hestra inventory with FTP gloves!”, Christian Bastoul, Kirkwood resident.

Donated by Christian Bastoul

Free the Powder® was born from our dream to make warmer, tougher premium quality ski gloves at lower prices for the rigors of backcountry use, Ski Patrol, or the family ski day.

We founded Free the Powder to offer ski gloves of the quality and price that we ourselves had searched for, but could seemingly never find.

I’m a backcountry skier who gets cold hands easily, which means I need really warm hand protection that also provides excellent dexterity for handling gear. The problem is, warmth and dexterity are on opposite ends of glove design.

So, after 40 years in ski country as a ski racer, backcountry ski bum, mountain worker and climber I set out to find a solution to this problem. Thus began an extensive research and development odyssey in 2013.

Now, with the help of a small team of designers, leatherworkers, and a group of dedicated skiers and Ski Patrol, we have found a solution to the problem, and are proud to offer you Free the Powder Gloves.
