Item Description
Bookbinding is treasured craft that combines art and science. Catherine Christensen, Discovery Museum Traveling Science Educator, has been making beautiful books from scratch for 30+ years.
This set of three softcover journals comes in a custom slipcase. All three journals measure approximately 5.625" x 8.625", contain grid paper pages, and are adorned with decorative spine stitching.
- The first features a butterfly cover and a single 40-page signature.
- The second has owls and two signatures, for a total of 80 pages.
- The third is covered with part of the periodic table of the elements, has three signatures and a total of 120 pages.

Item Special Note
The winning bidder will be responsible for shipping and handling costs, in addition to the purchase price. Alternatively, the winner may arrange for a contact-free pick-up at the Discovery Museum’s administrative offices (183 Main Street, Acton, MA) Tuesdays-Thursdays, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. Advanced notice required. An email with specific pick-up instructions will be sent with confirmation of date and time. All social distancing and face covering guidelines will be followed.
