Artist bio
KK Kozik is a contemporary artist whose primary medium is paint. Her work has been exhibited widely in the United States and abroad and she was a 2017 Smithsonian Artist Fellowship nominee and 2018 Connecticut Arts Fellow in Painting. Kozik's painting has been reviewed in The New York Times, New Yorker. Artforum, and many other publications. She has executed a number of public art projects including a NYC MTA Arts for Transit installation at the A line station in Rockaway Beach and most recently at Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts. She lives with her family in Sharon, CT where she also directs ICEHOUSE Project Space.
