Item Description

Title: Pescatorialist

Artist: John Sutyak

Materials: Bass is 3ft x 1.5ft and made of .5in Kleer (PVC). Pencil, ink and acrylic paint.

Artist's Description: I thought about the Striped Bass as a game fish, and the pressure the stock is under on the East Coast. So much has gone into the science of studying and fishing this wonderful species, so I incorporated some of that into my interpretation of my Bass. I left the field around the fish somewhat vacant as part of a question mark as to the future of the Striped Bass as a game fish.

About the Artist: Designer by education, all around creative: On any given day, John might be painting posters or designing costumes, always communicating through design and art.
