Item Description

Title: Summer in the Rose Garden

Artist: Judi Jorge

Materials: Bass is 3ft x 1.5ft and made of .5in Kleer (PVC). Layered acrylic paints.

Artist's Description: If you were to ask me to paint a picture of summer in Beverly, I would paint a picture of the Rose Garden at Lynch Park. While times and memories change like the sea, the Rose Garden is an idyllic place, frozen in time. Generations have ridden on its guardian lions, become knights as they played on the brick walkways, and fallen in love surrounded by the enchanted flowers. I strive to create art that evokes memory and emotion, which I hope shows through in this piece.

About the Artist: Judi Jorge is a lifelong, primarily self-taught artist who lives and works in Beverly. Her style is realistic, and she works in acrylic and granite. When not creating, she is tending to her pets!
