Item Description

Title: Marblehead Light

Artist: Katherine Giordano (Emerging Artist and recipient of Beverly Cultural Council grant)

Materials: Bass is 3ft x 1.5ft and made of .5in Kleer (PVC). Front - oil paint. Back - acrylic paint.

Artist's Description: The front of the bass is an oil painting inspired by a photograph taken by Luke Rover. It is the lighthouse detailed with the bay rocks and some houses in the distance. The back is painted blue in an acrylic paint.

 

About the Artist: Kat Giordano is a Boston-based artist and graduate of Endicott College. She plans on pursuing her MFA at Ohio University in the fall.
