Item Description
Enjoy this custom-made, limited-edition beach towel based on renowned artist Derrick Adams' Floater 28 painting from 2016. This work is included in the Hudson River Museum's current exhibition, Derrick Adams: Buoyant.
Derrick Adams is a multidisciplinary, New York-based artist who delves deeply and fearlessly into the nooks and crannies of Black life and culture. Adams depicts a world where joy, love, leisure, and even prosaic normalcy play central roles, filling the many voids in popular visual culture. He is a 2019 recipient of a Robert Rauschenberg Foundation Residency and was honored by the Gordon Parks Foundation and the Studio Museum.
