Item Description

Framed Dimensions: 15.5" W by 13" H

From the Artist:

Oil, acrylics, mixed media, watercolors, ink, graphite, photography — why limit the possibilities. I am always looking — at light and shadows, at the subtlety of colors. Often a painting arises from a combination of collected perceptions and a deep emotional response to them — a sense of home, young summers, or imagined retreats.

I do a lot of plein air painting from the 'car studio'. This in an old brick builing on Marcy Street, bordering Prescott Park.  There is so much to see and paint in Portsmouth....and beyond.

I’ve shown throughout New England and in upstate New York; and my work is in private collections throughout the country. I have been represented by the Bowersock Gallery in Provincetown, MA, and on line at artsy.com. I have studied with E.M. Saniga, Stuart Shils, Adeline Goldminc-Tronzo, and DeWitt Hardy.
