Item Description
Michael Albert is a Modern Pop Artist & Businessman based in Westchester County, NY. He is not formally trained in ART however he has been creating ART seriously and steadily for over 25 years and studying it on his own for equally as long. He began making ART while still a student at NYU. His ART has evolved from doodles to serious wax oil drawings to the cubist mosaic Cereal box collages he has become known for. In the past several years he has been creating large scale "Epic" collage works on various themes including historical, biblical, literary, musical, lyrical, botanical, mathematical and geographical.
This work is a prime example of his creations over the past two decades. Bid to make 19th Amendment your own!
He has developed an art education program over the past decade where he visits schools, libraries, museums & festivals with what he calls the "Modern Pop Art Experience". At these programs he exhibits his work, gives a short artist presentation to the students & then runs a hands-on cereal box collage workshop for children, teens, and adults. He has traveled extensively in the eastern USA and in Europe and has staged over 300 ART programs to date including such prestigious venues as the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC, New York Public Library (over 50 branches), Chicago Public Library (numerous branches), St. Louis Public Library, F.I.T. in NYC, Penn State Lehigh Valley Campus, Community College of Rhode Island, HWR School of Economics and Law in Berlin, Germany & The Children's Museum of Indianapolis.
