Grass In The Bass | My bass was created with cut painted paper. The paper is painted with acrylics and then each flower is hand cut and applied to the fish. I wanted this years bass to feel like you walked into a field of wildflowers on a sunny summer day. Hopefully it puts a smile on your face like it does mine!
Artist: Tara Reynolds
Tara Reynolds is an artist and illustrator living on Martha’s Vineyard. She was born on the island and grew up in Edgartown. Her love for the arts began at a young age and continued through her schooling at The Savannah College of Art and Design where she graduated with a bachelor’s in Fine Art and Illustration. Tara returned to the Vineyard to continue her career in the arts where she has always felt the most inspired. Tara has since written and illustrated two children’s books and sells her work at a number of retail stores around the island. She is a member of The Vineyard Artisans Festival, The Chilmark Flea Market and The Oak Bluffs Open Market. She also sells most of her work on her Etsy page, Tara Reynolds Art.
