Item Description
BINOCULAR: KOWA BD 42-8 XD
This high quality, lovely binocular donated by Out of This World in Mendocino is perfect for studying nature a a distance, yet close-up and in sparkling acuity. "The BD XD 8x42 is incredibly bright. Brighter in fact, than my giant 10x50 Lieca Ultravids. They're also sharper, and require less fiddling with the focus wheel. I've tested them with friends alongside many prestige models from Zeiss, Lieca, Swarovski and the better far-eastern manufacturers. We can't match [the KOWA] for brilliance, sharpness and best of all, the superb handling."--review on BirdingNZ.net
The Bird Way by Jennifer Ackerman
The lovely book draws on personal observations, the latest science, and Ms. Ackerman's bird-related travel around the world. This book provides a new look at how birds talk, work, play, parent and think. After you read this book, you will see birds in a whole new light!
