From Ramone's Website:
We started in 1981 and are still owned and operated by one of the original owners, Berit Meyer, joined in 1990 by her husband, Brian Ferguson. We always make our products in the finest of American and European traditions-everything is made by hand with the freshest ingredients.
Ramone's started as a cafe in 1981 in Old Town Eureka, serving international food with a California twist. Due to the popularity of our desserts and baked goods, we opened a bakery around the corner on E Street in 1986. Continuing in our tradition of serving the finest food using the freshest ingredients, the bakery became well-known for delicious pastries, espresso coffees, delectable desserts and unusual varieties of baked breads, as well as our warm atmosphere and friendly service.
