Item Description

This Kala favorite of GITC educators has the traditional look of the Exotic Mahogany, complemented by the unique grain patterns. The woodgrains range in variety from a wavy curl to a straight sharpness and everything between.

The uke has a longer neck and deeper body than a soprano and produces a warmer tone with slightly louder volume. Many adults find playing a tenor is more comfortable because you can extend your arm to make chords and the body can tuck nicely under your strumming arm elbow.

The beauty of the wood and the warmth of the tone make it a step above the student ukulele that most of us play when we begin. It comes with a gig bag, an extra set of strings, and a Kala ukulele strap, too!
