The The GITC Giving Week Auction is now closed. Thank you all for taking the time to point, click and bid in order to support Guitars in the Classroom! Congratulations to everyone who:

  • placed a winning bid
  • generously donated an item for auction
  • invited family, friends and community to make their bid to build a better world

Your browsing and bidding helped support music making for 100,000 Students at Promise, (no longer called students "at risk") and their 1200 marvelous teachers who train with GITC to go the distance everyday to provide real, courageous, joyful hands-on musical learning during the pandemic.

Your auction dollars will help all of them, from toddlers to teens, learn to sing, play, create and dream together.

Any instrument, T-shirt, lesson, bag or piece of artwork you purchased will transform into instruments, supplies and music leadership this winter! We are so grateful to the artists and companies that are helping to make this auction possible. From hand-builders and top flight companies to great musicians and creators (including our own GITC faculty) we are all in this with you together.

This Giving Season, we thank you for joining Guitars and Ukes in the Classroom to support musical learning for Students at Promise & Their Teachers!

This winter's celebrity offerings include a gorgeous Lanakai ukulele personally autographed by Jack Johnson, John Cruz and Jake Shimabukuro for GITC, several very special road and studio guitars, played and/or autographed, donated by Jason Mraz. We are exceptionally grateful to GRAMMY winning producer, composer, textural guitarist, and GITC board member Larry Mitchell for offering a special zoom "livingroom concert" to a lucky winner!
