This lovely ukulele was personally signed for Guitars and Ukes in the Classroom's founder, Jess Baron by Jake Shimabukuro, John Cruz and Jack Johnson when the non-profit opened programs training teachers on Oahu and Maui in 2012. It is in perfect, pristine condition and has been kept safe for the right moment to sell it. This pandemic has increased the demands on our small non-profit so we are offering this showpiece with the triple celebrity signature in hopes it will help us fund 6 weeks of free music leadership training for 300 teachers this winter.
It was acquired new by GITC in 2012 and has never been played except for a moment by the celebs who signed it. In its day without the signatures it might have cost under $300. But the collective value of these celebrities' endorsing signatures for GITC's work should make it very special if you love their music. This uke is the real deal.
Lanikai LKP-C Koa Concert Ukulele 4-string: Hawaiian koa top, 15 inch scale, 19 frets Mahogany neck, Rosewood bridge and fretboard Gold-Plated tuners Giving uke players what they asked for is Lanikai's style. With the LKP-C koa concert is a well-appointed concert ukulele made of koa with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, gold-plated die-cast tuning machines, abalone rosette, body binding and fingerboard inlays. A custom wide bone nut was used to increase the string spacing, making the LKP-C concert ukulele more comfortable for guitarists who are trying out the ukulele for the first time. This Lanikai ukulele is strung with Aquila Nylgut Strings.
