Known for its vast, open wilderness and distinctive national parks, Wyoming’s landscapes will take your breath away.  Hiking in Wyoming is a bucket list activity for many. The stunning beauty of the mountainous peaks and valleys is sure to welcome the avid hiker.  So lace up your boots and hit some of the best trails in the country. You won't be disappointed...until it's time to leave.
Day 1:  Arrive in Jackson Hole
Upon arrival at the Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) you will be met and transferred to your accommodations, a quaint inn nestled in the foothills of the Tetons. Your guide will provide an orientation of the hiking days to come as well as restaurant recommendations and reservations assistance.

Day 2:  Mt. Oliver - 9,004 ft
Located in the lightly visited Snake River Range and the southern part of Jackson Hole, Mt Oliver is a great hike to test your legs and lungs at altitude. With an initial high elevation gain and an easy scramble to the top, you will be rewarded with mountain views of Teton Pass, mixed meadows and the solace of nature. Return to the trail head along the same route, 8 miles roundtrip, and then continue back to your accommodations.

Hiking Time: 8 miles
Difficulty: Moderate

Day 3:  Taylor Mountain - 10,351 ft
Another day of adventure awaits in the southern Teton Range. Embark on a steady climb as you walk along the Coal Creek through mountain meadows and thick aspen groves to reach a high alpine environment with amazing views. While slightly less mileage than the day before with 7.2 miles roundtrip, the increased elevation gain of 2,800 feet make this day a bit more challenging than the last. Return to your comfortable accommodations after a rewarding day.

Hiking Time: 7.2 miles
Difficulty: Moderate

Day 4:  Exclusive Back Country Trail
Depending on the weather, accesibility, time of year and wildlife, your seasoned guide will choose an exclusive route for your final day. Explore the more untouched trails outside of Jackson Hole, areas frequented more by locals and wildlife and not widely known to the outside world. This glimpse into the hidden gems of the Tetons will leave you with breathtaking views, rare encounters with wildlife and an appreciation for getting an insider's view of backcountry Wyoming.

Day 5:  Departure
Enjoy breakfast before being transferred to the airport for your return flight home.

Note:  This is a private trip; guests will have a choice of Monday-Friday or Thursday-Monday dates ranging from early July to mid-October.  Daily hikes subject to change based on weather, wildlife and other factors.
