Item Description
Considered home to some of the finest pottery in the world, the town of Mata Ortiz, 6 hours south of Tucson, produces pieces that are hand-shaped and fired traditionally in a bucket over an open fire.
Painted cream, green, black, and rust: Fine brushstrokes come from handmade brushes created with only a few hairs- traditionally from a child's head.
Decorative use only. 9" high, 5" wide, hummingbird and flower motif.
