Item Description

From the early 1920's. a beautiful wood upright piano with a painted purple piano bench and sheet music.  It has a great old timey sound, and could use a tuning.  It's been in storage for quite a while.  The Lester Piano Co. was established in 1888 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The firm manufactured upright and grand pianos under different brands, including: Lester, Alden, Gounod, Leonard & Co., Schilling & Sons (with distribution in New York) prior to the 1920s. The Lester Piano Co. finally went out of business in 1960, and Lester pianos are no longer in production.

Winning bidder will have to arrange pick up from a private home in Pasadena at the winning bidder's cost.  The Waverly School and/or donors are not responsible for shipping fees.
