Item Description
Calling all train lovers! Come stay in this retired B&M caboose with authentic stove and railroad memorabilia at Four Meadows Farm in Claremont. This well-appointed caboose in located in a peaceful setting on a certified tree farm, just a few miles from I-91 with easy access to attractions in both New Hampshire and Vermont such as Dartmouth College, Mount Ascutney, Lake Sunapee, Saint- Gaudens National Historical Park, covered bridges, hiking, biking, hang gliding and leaf-peeping in the fall.
Cool off in our large private pond and enjoy s'mores by the fire pit.
Caboose has a double sized futon for sleeping, small kitchen, and bath with standing shower.

The caboose is located in a field, so please be prepared to walk approx. 200 yards across lawn from driveway/parking space. There are stairs (with handrail) at entry. It is on rail bed in shady spot with screen doors and fan, but there is no A/C. Small portable ceramic heaters are on hand to keep it toasty for fall stays.
Other restrictions include: no pets, no smoking, all visitors staying at the caboose must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination 2 weeks prior to stay.
