"Karen and Nigel, your English hosts who have lived in the region for almost 20 years, will welcome you for 2 nights in their beautiful Mediterranean villa in the village of Sussargues, near Montpellier, in the South of France. The two nights Bed and Breakfast could be part of your planned French or European trip.
Can you imagine, having spent a few nights in Paris, taking the high speed train to Aix en Provence (3 hours), then leisurely making your way back through Provence, to Montpellier (90 minutes by car)
In Sussargues, you will be staying in a typical small village, surrounded by vineyards but not too far off the beaten path, in a comfortable home surrounded by a mature garden. After a dip in the pool and a leisurely breakfast, take a day trip to Montpellier, an 11th century university town, 30 minutes away, with museums, wonderful old streets, and al-fresco fine dining.
You could also visit the markets in Sommières on Saturday morning or in Mauguio on Sunday morning (see video https://youtu.be/f1VggFI4Sgg). You will enjoy the bustle of the cheese and meat stands, taste the locally grown fresh fruit and have a coffee or an apéritif in the animated square.
There are many other villages to visit nearby, take a leisurely drive in the spectacular French countryside, go for a bike ride, visit the wineries or go to the beach to dip your feet in the warm Mediterranean Sea!
Back at your French home, you can relax by the pool, and listen to the cicadas whilst sipping a glass of wine. You will be delighted by your lovely bedroom with en-suite bathroom and WC as well as your access to the rest of the spacious house, garden and swimming pool.
Staying in a French village, you will feel totally immersed in French life! “
Item Special Note
We can host a couple, an individual or two people traveling together. We can pickup and dropoff at the airport or train station, but you will need your own transport if you plan to visit local sights.
Sorry we cannot accommodate animals and we don't allow smoking in the house.
Stay must be used by the end of October 2022.
