Item Description
Miniature model of Newschwanstein Castle is in mint condition. The tiny details in this small model are extrordinary. The name means "New Swan Stone". Construction on the castle, built for King Ludwig II of Bavaria, began in 1869, but was never fully completed. King Ludwig was a great admirer of Richard Wagner and intended to offer the composer this monumental edifice as a retreat, but Wagner died before he ever set foot in the castle.
Complete or not, Newschwanstein is a top European tourist destination, and over a million people tour the castle every year.
It is in like new condition, in box.
