About the Artist:

Impressionist artist Terry Anstead is a world traveler, experiencing the sights and sounds of many countries and cultures. Always open and observant, Terry became enamored and inspired by the repetition in the diversity he encountered.
Now, settled in Cape May, New Jersey, Terry uses his impressionistic approach to interpret the complex images of his experience into shapes and forms recognizable and accessible to everyone.
Unable to constrain himself to a single medium, Terry explores the possibilities of texture, space and color that are available to him in oil paint, watercolor, acrylic, ink and pastels. Using brush, knife and anything to hand, Terry mixes his colors on the canvas, allowing the medium to guide him.
Terry also explores what the digital age offers, taking specific pieces of his art and manipulating them, shifting his work from art to design, from singular to patterns, returning the distilled interpretation back to repetition.
