Centre Markets is passionate about creating strong connections between our local farmers & artisan food producers and our Central PA community.
We make eating local easy:
We don't have a physical store. Just order ahead, and our farmers & producers bring us exactly what you ordered.
No commitments - just order exactly what you need week to week from the local farmer's and chefs that you already know and trust. If a weekly CSA share leaves your fridge overflowing - this is the perfect alternative!
STEP 1: Order
Our online market is open Wednesday - Friday for you to order from more than 35 local farmers and producers that you already know and trust.
STEP 2: Pick up / Delivery
Come pick up your order Saturday between 2:30 and 4:30pm at Nature's Pantry in State College - or just let us deliver!
STEP 3: Enjoy
Get cookin'! Prepare your fresh local veggies and goodies and enjoy a healthy meal! Or keep it simple and enjoy a professionally prepared meal that just needs to be heated.
ABOUT CENTRE MARKETS
We are strongly rooted in the fabric of the small farms and farmers markets of Centre County.
Centre Markets originally started as collaborative marketing effort between several local farmer's markets. Boalsburg and North Atherton Farmers Markets (NAFM) spearheaded the effort to apply and manage a marketing grant from the Happy Valley Visitors Bureau.
In light of the COVID oubreak and associated supply chain and community health concerns, NAFM Board member Sabine Carey founded Centre Markets LLC In spring of 2020. This allowed the creation of the online market, and facilitated the connection of local farmers to our community at the height of the pandemic.
At this point, Centre Markets has a loyal community following, and is working with close to 40 local farmers. While we started with a pickup location at the Boalsburg Farmers Market, we also spent a winter packing orders at the Boalsburg Fire Hall, before finding a more permanent partnership with Nature's Pantry Natural Food Store.
