About: Moments in Time
Ken Dimmer gave up full time teaching in 2004 to pursue his lifetime interest in photography. He had taught in Hampshire for over 30 years and was Manager of Learning, with responsibility for Special Needs in a comprehensive school, before resigning and launching his new career.
Ken is a keen sportsman and enjoys exploring new places, in particular coastal scenery and mountain landscapes. His photographs capture the local area, particularly at sunset, but the photographic business has given him the excuse for more adventures in other parts of the world.
Whilst he uses modern technology to take the image (SLR digital), he has decided to hold firm to the principle that the skill and satisfaction is in taking a pleasing image, which is not going to be enhanced using the latest software package. There fore the images you seehave been in no way altered or "improved" on the computer.
He has a studio in Bosham Walk, a craft center in Bosham, West Sussex, England where a wide selection of framed and unframed and canvas prints are on display.
In 2006, he had his first photogrph displayed in the magazine :Professional Photographer".
