Item Description
Delightful collection of Cambodian folk tales and storybooks! This collection includes hard to find books (some lightly used) sure to please readers of any age. The stories will transport you back to Cambodia as you travel to the city of Phnom Penh to make a wish, the rice fields and countryside, the royal palace and temples, a school in rural Cambodia where a young girl dons donated running shoes to run to a faraway village every day in order to attend school. You will accompany the royal dancers on a trip from the royal palace to France in the early 1900s where a young girl meets the artist Rodin. Books on folktales are here too, as well as a small collection of printed items in Khmer.
