Item Description
This 13 piece delightful set of Cambodian musicians, standing about 2 to 3 inches high is sure to be a conversation piece in any home. The “pinpeat” orchestra or musical ensemble performs the ceremonial music of the royal courts and temples of Cambodia. It usually consists of 9 or 10 instruments, mainly percussion (including several types of xylophone and drums) and string and wind instruments. This set was donated to The Sharing Foundation by our friends at the Angkor Dance Troupe based in Lowell Massachusetts.
