Item Description
Lambert's Stone | The Rockfish Striper, created from island beach stones, collected from Lambert's Cove, Squibby, Moshup, & others.
My inspiration for this fish was the iconic stone walls found upisland. These "farmer's walls" are unique to MV, because they were made with igneous rock that was deposited by glaciers when the island was made 2.5 million years ago. The rocks I chose for Lambert's Stone include quartz, granite, slate, basalt, and schist.
Lambert's Stone is a Striper to enjoy above a fireplace or outside in the garden. He weighs about 11 pounds.
