Item Description

One of Broadway's largest theaters, the Palace opened in 1913 and quickly became one of the premiere vaudeville houses, attracting performers like Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby, Ethel Merman and Bob Hope. In 1951, Judy Garland signed on for a four-week run at the Palace, fell in love with the theater and stayed for a record-breaking 19 weeks.

Affectionately calling The Palace her home, Garland returned in 1956 for another smash-hit run. In 1967 Judy recorded the best-selling album Judy Garland at Home at the Palace: Opening Night live from the Palace. Located on 47th Street and Broadway, The Palace was most recently home to SpongeBob SquarePants and Sunset Boulevard before undergoing its current multi-year renovation.

"The Judy Chandelier" hung in the mezzanine of the Palace Theatre, illuminating the legendary Judy Garland during her performances. At 27 inches high and 15.5 inches wide, this dazzling chandelier features more than 100 crystals. A stunning piece of theater history, it's a true treasure and the perfect addition to any home. It's already wired, so with the right electrician, it can brighten up your home. The lucky winner will receive an original Playbill from Garland's 1951 engagement, as well as two books about the star: The Completely Judy Garland by Emily R. Coleman and Judy Garland: The Day-by-Day Chronicle of a Legend by Scott Schechter.
