Item Description
Elaine Stritch is often considered to be one of the greatest Broadway performers in history. Inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 1995, Stritch knew how to command the audience's attention with her brassy voice and electric stage presence.
She originated the role of Joanne in the 1970 musical Company, cementing the Stephen Sondheim-penned song "The Ladies Who Lunch" in musical theater canon. Stritch was nominated for her performance, one of the 14 Tony Award nominations the show received. Stritch herself received four Tony nominations over the course of her career, winning the 2002 Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event for her show Elaine Stritch at Liberty.
Propose a toast to the icon and enjoy this original Company Playbill, signed by Stritch herself.
