Item Description
“A Pastoral Life with Alpacas” is artwork I created using wet-felting and needle-felting techniques. I blend my “paint colors” on my drum carder using our suri roving along with huacaya, merino and silks. I also incorporate suri and sheep locks for added texture and detail. This piece was designed from a picture I took of our alpacas grazing in the pasture when they were youngsters.
This 14W"x11L" piece won a blue ribbon in the 2022 Suri Network Fiber Arts competition and would normally be sold through an art gallery. However, Tamara has been kind enough to donate this piece to the Suri Network Online Auction. This is your opportunity to bid!
