Take a trip to Tanaka Farms, located in Irvine, for one of their seasonal farm tours, for four (4) - strawberry, melon, pumpkins, or hikari...the choice is yours!

Each season at Tanaka Farms provides a different fun and educational tour of a real working farm! Tours are led by a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide and include a wagon ride around Tanaka's beautiful 30-acre farm. You will learn the history, farming methods and the crops they grow. The tour includes a few stops in the fields to pick your own produce (produce varies and is dependent on crop availability). Then, take a walk through the Barnyard Educational Exhibit. Tours last about one hour.

Tour options:

Strawberry (March-June): The last stop on this tour is the strawberry patch where you can pick and eat strawberries. Everyone will take home a one-pound basket of strawberries.

Melon (July-August): The last stop is in the melon patch where you will learn about summer produce and sample several varieties of melons. Each person will receive a melon to take home.

Pumpkin Patch (October): Includes a wagon ride around the farm, Barnyard Educational Exhibit, U-Pick Veggie Patch, Pick your own pumpkin. This tour is self-paced.

Hikari (November-December): Visit Tanaka Farms for a holiday adventure filled with lights and cheer! Available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and includes a photo opportunity with Santa!

Tanaka Farms grows over 60 different varieties of fruits and vegetables and gives educational farm tours to thousands of school children each and every year. The Tanakas hope to continue their family farm for many years!
