Item Description

This beautiful, signed, original art print of a butterfly watercolor painting was created by artist Sarah Nelsen.

Sarah is the founder of Atlas Art Press whose mission is to help others Find Beauty In The Mess. Atlas Art products and workshops aim to replace weariness + despair with courage + grace, so people can confidently navigate life’s challenges.

This print is presented with a handcrafted solid wood frame with double-sided glass and measures 13.75 inches x 13.75 inches.

The butterfly is the international symbol of hope and is a symbol that is deeply meaningful to the Caring Place. The back of this original art print reads, "The Butterfly - Once a caterpllar in his dark cocoon, he uses the special fluid around him to fuel the unique energy required to form his wings. Just before he emerges, the brilliant colors of his wings become visible. His new form emerges with wings soft and wet. The tired butterfly rests for a little while as his wings dry, and then he is ready to fly. Getting a loook at this metamorphosis as it happens is difficult; disturbing the caterpillar inside its cocoon risks ruining the transformation."
