Enjoy a three-night package (2 guests per room, 4 guests per cabin cruiser for fishing) valid May 28 - Sept. 1, 2006). This package includes four days of fishing and all meals and non-alcoholic beverages. Wine is included at dinner.

Famous for the rich fishing grounds that made the Waterfall Cannery one of the most productive salmon fishing canneries in Alaska, this converted Resort attracts anglers of all skill levels from around the world for the staggering number of trophy-size Salmon, Halibut, and Ling-cod that return each season.

Along the West Coast of Prince of Wales Island, extreme tides and surging ocean currents create a habitat for millions of bait fish that attract annual returns of trophy-size salmon, halibut, red snapper, and ling cod. These natural phenomena, which first attracted commercial fishermen, offer premier fishing grounds in Alaska for some of the best salmon and halibut sport fishing in the world.

Guest Services include an on-site Alaska Airline Ticket Agent, maid service, hospitality services, lounge, general store, on site masseuse and laundry facilities. Custom Seafood Processing by professionally trained Waterfall staff.

Arrival Day -Guests depart Ketchikan by floatplane for the 40-minute flight to Waterfall Resort at about 1 p.m. Upon arrival you are greeted by the resort Manager and Staff. Shortly after checking in, you leave for an afternoon of fishing. Lunch is on board the cabin cruiser and guests return to the resort by 5:30 p.m. The fish are cleaned, filleted and vacuum packed. Dinner, featuring Alaskan cuisine, is served in the dining room from 6-8 p.m. Other evening activities may include a hike to the waterfall, relaxing in the guest lounge, or a game of pool.

Full Days -A hearty breakfast is served daily at 5 a.m. Boats depart at 6:30 a.m. for a full day of fishing and exploring. Guides teach guests the Alaskan style of fishing for king salmon and halibut. Visitors also explore the inlets and bays looking for whales, bald eagles, sea lions, etc. Boats return to the resort at 4:30 p.m. when catches are unloaded and pictures are taken. Hopefully, your fish will qualify for one of over 35 prizes in this year's $100,000 King of Kings Tournament.

Departure Day -After fishing for several hours, guests return to the resort at 10 a.m. and our staff prepares and packages the morning's catch for the trip home. Lunch is available before the floatplane arrives. Waterfall Resort's on-site Alaska Airlines agent has already handled your travel arrangements and tagged your luggage and fish boxes. This service eliminates the check-in procedure in Ketchikan if you are making a direct connection on the same day on Alaska Airlines.
