Item Description
An overnight stay at the Grand Isle Lake House with a pre-concert dinner on the porch, and tickets for two to the Vermont Mozart Festival's Grand Isle Jazz Evening Concert featuring the Steve Wilson Jazz Quartet. The outdoor event will be held Wednesday evening, July 22, 2009 at the Grand Isle Lake House, a historic special event facility located on Lake Champlain and owned by the Preservation Trust of Vermont.
Lake Champlain has long been noted as one of Vermont's greatest treasures. The Grand Isle Lake House stands as a jewel in the Lake's crown. Built as a hotel in 1903, embodying true Turn-of-the-Century charm, the property soon became a spot frequented by the "Who's Who" of the Northeast. The Sisters of Mercy purchased the property in 1956 and ran it as a summer camp for girls from 1957 through 1993. In 1997, the property and buildings which now comprise the Grand Isle Lake House were donated as a generous gift to the Preservation Trust of Vermont.
Item Special Note
Only valid for July 22, 2009 (make reservation by July 15, 2009). Two persons. One room/double occupancy. Not redeemable for cash.
