Item Description
A special behind-the-scenes tour for two with the Center's Director, of the earliest surviving Tudor-Revival building in Virginia. The Center's Director will lead a private exploration through the 27,000 square feet home designed by John Russell Pope, completed in 1919 and registered as a Virginia Historic Landmark.
The Virginia Center for Architecture opened its doors in 2005, marking four years of raising the awareness and appreciation of architecture and design among visitors. The mission of the Center is "to invite the public to explore the power and importance of architecture through exhibitions, educational programs, publications, and its stewardship of a historic landmark."
