Working through five offices in California, for over 30 years Life Steps Foundation has provided tens of thousands of low-income children and adults with developmental disabilities vital tools to help them find their voice, live with dignity, and create a positive impact in their communities. Together we can help solve the challenges a frail parent, an autistic teen or a developmentally delayed infant faces. Help assist Life Steps’ participants obtain tools necessary to become empowered and better equipped to face challenges in their daily lives.
In 1992 we began collecting doodles for our first auction. Twenty years later we are still embracing the creative spirit. We believe a doodle is more than an “aimless or casual scribble, design, or sketch.” We believe there is a major distinction between a scribble and a doodle. A scribble may be casual or aimless, but a doodle is made with a certain underlying intent, it is an expression of one’s creativity that is accessible to us all. One of Life Steps Foundation’s most cherished core values is creativity. We have relied heavily on our creativity over the past 30 years in not only providing innovative services for Californian’s living with disabilities, but also in raising funds to support these services.
