The Stonington Historical Society is now auctioning off a number of fun and unique items and experiences in conjunction with our annual Gala on June 24, 2017. Our auction raises much needed funds for our organization and features a wide variety of goods, services and experiences. There is truly something for everyone!

New items have been added, and see below for a preview of our Live Auction!

Please bid generously and often. As a non-profit organization, we depend on your support to help us operate and maintain our two museums, research library and other historic properties. Most importantly, the money we raise enables us to continue to fulfill our important mission to preserve, interpret and celebrate the history of all of Stonington.

These are the items that will be auctioned off at the Stonington Swings Again Gala on June 24:

Sail on America’s Cup’s Winner Courageous - Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for sailors! Up to 10 will join the crew on a sail on Courageous, the most celebrated America’s Cup Winner. Sail out of Newport week of July 24, week of August 14, or week of September 25, 2017. Check out this video for a glimpse of what it's like to sail on Courageous!

Golfing by the Sea - A Golfer’s Dream Package! Play at three of the top courses in New England: Fishers Island Club for 3 with lunch and boat trip, The Misquamicut Club for 3 players with lunch and Shelter Harbor Golf Club for 4 with lunch.

Special Occasion Event at a Historic Seaside Home in the Boro - Dinner for 8 or cocktail party for 20 prepared by Gourmet Galley at private home on Main St. Perfectly paired with wines form Cask ‘n’ Keg, with servers from the Society’s Board of Directors.
