Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences of West Virginia The Clay Center is one of only three facilities in the country to house science, visual arts and performing arts under one roof. With a hands-on science museum, permanent art collection and world-class performance hall, the Center provides education and entertainment for thousands of West Virginians each year. Students in 50 West Virginia counties and 21 counties in surrounding states have visited the Center on field trips, and Clay Center educators bring hands-on art and science projects to classrooms throughout the area every year. Through these important programs, outreach initiatives and cultural offerings, the Center is inspiring and encouraging children to graduate high school, seek higher education and build successful, productive lives that will effect positive change for the future of our great state.
