Boston Harbor Islands Annual Gala

Boston Harbor Island Alliance hosts this annual event to raise funding and awareness for the Boston Harbor Islands national park area. The event will be held on Georges Island, just 25 minutes from downtown Boston by ferry, inside Fort Warren. More than 500 guests are expected to attend, and more than $330,000 will be raise to support public programs and access initiatives for underserved communities. Guests will take a ferry ride to the island from Boston's Long Wharf (adjacent to the Christopher Columbus Park) and will be greeted by a glass of champagne once on the island. Dinner, drinks, and entertainment will happen inside the Fort. Dessert will be served during sunset by the new Visitor Center. Ferries will depart Boston at 5:15, 5:30, and 5:45 and will be available to and from the island all evening to accomodate guests.
