An Evening of Ohio Wine and Food

Celebrating Youth and Dedicated Supporters of Ohio 4-H

On Saturday, October 3rd, more than 250 people will gather at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center in Columbus to participate in the annual Celebration of Youth fundraising event.

We are also excited, again this year, to showcase and highlight some of Ohio’s best food and wine.  Every dollar raised during this event directly supports future endeavors of 4-H members.

The evening begins with a reception of heavy hors devours accompanied by a silent auction, dessert, program and live auction. The Great Hall is lined with displays of important 4-H initiatives, such as Ohio Military Kids, International Youth Exchange opportunities, and innovative 4-H projects. Much more than a fundraiser, this event serves as a reunion of many 4-H alumni and supporters as well as a showcase of new and exciting Ohio 4-H programming.

What does your gift support?

The majority of the funds raised from this event are given out through The Ohio 4-H Foundation’s Grant Program.

This program has helped jumpstart some of Ohio 4-H’s most innovative member and volunteer programs throughout our 88 counties.

In 2015, more than $200,000 was awarded to 4-H county recipients throughout Ohio that applied to receive an Ohio 4-H Foundation grant. Ohio 4-H has remained strong by being flexible enough to meet the needs of all youth.
