From well-seasoned culinary artists to moms on the go -- get your salivary glands working and your creativity inspired by this cooking class offered by Creative Director of MOTO Creative Services, Ryohei Yamamoto. This single session held on Wednesday, January 15 (from 10:30 am to about 2 pm) will feature a unique east/west fusion party menu including: Miso-infused cheese Lotus root mochi in grated daikon white wine sauce grape and persimmon shira-ae (marinated with sweetened tofu) Sous-vide pork two ways Tofu rolls in tomato sauce Tahini creme brulee Sake kasu sorbet MOTO¿s intimate cooking classes are educational and enchanting experiences for clients interested in both technique and presentation as well as in enjoying a delicious meal in the comfort of MOTO¿s home. Each month MOTO selects a creative and unique theme, prepares a customized menu and detailed instructions, and procures the finest and freshest ingredients. Classes include in-depth instructions and demonstrations as well as opportunities to participate and practice. Conducted in Japanese, classes are held in Ryohei¿s kitchen and dining room in downtown Manhattan. A relaxing and luxurious lunch follows the workshop.

Menu is subject to change. The class is a demonstration style; no cooking is involved for students. The class is held in Japanese and will have 6 students. Please bring slippers (if you like)
