Laura got her start in the design business at an early age. Her childhood home was in a permanent state of renovation, and she was always playing with floor plans to see how her furniture would fit. Laura worked for Dominion Electric Supply for over 15 years, further developing her passion and talent for lighting design. She became proficient at reading blueprints, and she loved the more technical aspects such as dimming systems, landscape lighting, and light commercial projects. Laura works for Sagatov Design+Build, a well-regarded modern builder in the Arlington area. Her responsibilities there span beyond lighting design and layouts, but that always remains her passion point.
Recognizing a gap in the market for highly trained lighting specialists, Laura began her freelancing business several years ago.
