• The nights must be used during 1 trip.
• At least one person staying at the residence must be over the age of 25.

Vermejo Park Ranch Description

Ted Turner’s private estate, Vermejo Park Ranch, is a vacation property at over 590,000 acres and offers infinite opportunity for exploration. Located in northern New Mexico and southern Colorado, Vermejo is nothing short of spectacular with diverse terrain spanning from short-grass prairie to alpine tundra mountains at 13,000 feet.  Guests will have the pleasure of staying at Ted Turner’s private home, Casa Grande, which operates like a boutique hotel.

 Vermejo Park is home to abundant wildlife populations, including large herds of elk, deer, pronghorn antelope and bison, along with black bears, mountain lions, and Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep. The ranch is also home to a variety of birds, with over 180 species catalogued on the ranch, including Merriam’s turkey, bald and golden eagles, and red-tailed hawks.

 Vermejo Park Ranch offers unparalleled opportunities to enjoy and interact with the natural world and serves as one of the premiere eco-tourism destinations in the West. Vermejo adventure activities include hiking, biking, fishing, wildlife viewing, birdwatching, photography tours, and more. In addition to outdoor opportunities, Vermejo Park offers visitors a peaceful, undisturbed experience.

 A stay can be reserved anytime except the Fourth of July weekend, the month of September, Thanksgiving week, Christmas week and New Year’s week (Based on availability).  Unless otherwise noted all special event/holiday weeks start the Saturday before the holiday through the Saturday after the holiday with the exception of Christmas and New Year’s 2016/2017 which is 12/19/16 – 1/2/17

2. St. Phillips Island- 5 Nights with Stocked Groceries

Description

Owned by media mogul and philanthropist Ted Turner, this 4,680-acre private island destination is situated off the southeastern coast of South Carolina near Hilton Head.  St. Phillips Island is an oasis of pristine land, this island is ideal for family getaways, small executive retreats and romantic getaways where guests experience the utmost in privacy.  Ted’s home (the main house) is positioned to take advantage of the breathtaking ocean views. Fish off the dock, take a bicycle ride, and explore the untouched scenery on an all-terrain vehicle. The deck, screened in porch and boardwalk dock seating provides wonderful gathering places for friends and family. This 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom residence can accommodate up to 12 people, and additional guests may be added at a nightly rate.

• The 5-night package with a fully-stocked kitchen (curated shopping list from which to choose options provided prior to arrival), and prepare their own meals
