Item Description
There is something indescribable about the way light reflects off of fall leaves in the autumn wind. As artists we are always trying to catch and demonstrate though our work, those fantastical moments that we perceive in the natural world. This simple acrylic on cardboard painting that was done by a 10 grade student in the year of 2014. During a Plein Air art elective in the fall of that year the students were encouraged to go out onto the Summerfield campus and capture with paint what they saw around them. Using loose brushstrokes, this piece was a study done in a few hours during Amy's time in the elective.
Lovely nature painting by Summerfield high school student Amy Freeman.
