Item Description
(1) 30-minute phone consultation about your young reader(s). Kit is a youth services librarian and will help guide book selection for your home library or future library visits.
A former attorney with the Children in Need of Assistance unit of the Legal Aid Bureau of Maryland, Kit has always enjoyed working with children. She volunteers at the Young Readers Center of the Library of Congress and was for many years a volunteer at The Reading Connection, another local literacy nonprofit. Kit serves as a board member at Capitol Choices Noteworthy Books for Children and Teens and sits on the Alumni Council at UVA Law. Kit has a B.A. from Amherst College, a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, an M.L.I.S. from FSU, and, much to her family’s delight, a Certificate of Baking and Pastry from CCA/Le Cordon Bleu.

For children age 3 - 16.
Bidders outside of the RCC are responsible for shipping and handling fees, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped via UPS and billed at standard industry rates.
