Party with a Purpose at James Beard Foundation’s Chefs & Champagne®. JBF is getting the party started early by offering its friends and members access to advanced online bidding on a select number of auction packages from our upcoming fundraiser!
Chefs and food lovers will gather to celebrate “good food for good” at the James Beard Foundation’s Chefs & Champagne®. The most delicious event of the summer raises money to support the James Beard Foundation’s leadership and sustainability programs. The annual Hamptons fundraiser and tasting party, held under a sprawling tent at Wölffer Estate Vineyard, will feature Wölffer Estate wines, dishes from more than 35 notable chefs, and flowing Champagne Boizel, this year’s exclusive Champagne sponsor.
Padma Lakshmi, host and executive producer of Bravo’s James Beard Award–winning and Emmy award–winning Top Chef, is this year’s guest of honor. Lakshmi’s passion for food, family, and feminism is reflective of JBF’s yearlong RISE celebration, which launched at the 2018 James Beard Awards and, highlights the countless ways our culinary community works to make the world more delicious, diverse, and sustainable.
The online portion of the Chefs & Champagne® auction will run through Wednesday, July 25, 2018, with the silent auction taking place at Chefs & Champagne® on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Proceeds will support JBF’s initiatives, which include the Impact Programs in areas of seafood sustainability, food waste, chef advocacy, childhood nutrition; the Women's Leadership Programs, the numerous Scholarship programs, and more.

TERMS OF SALE
All sales are FINAL. No returns or credits are allowed. The highest acceptable bid received prior to the end of the auction date and time shall be the Buyer, who will assume full risk and responsibility of the lot.
All packages are sold "AS IS." Please read lot descriptions carefully. Travel, special events, and dinner packages expire one year from auction date unless otherwise specified. All hotel accommodations and travel reservations are subject to space availability. Blackout dates may apply. Air travel, when provided, originates from New York/Newark airports unless otherwise indicated on certificate.
Unless otherwise indicated, all silent auction travel packages are for two (2) people and do not include airfares, car rentals, or other transportation to and from destinations. Travel packages are subject to blackout and expiration dates in 2018 and 2019. We strongly recommend that you book your travel packages within ninety (90) days of purchase to reserve the dates you prefer. The James Beard Foundation is not responsible for making travel reservations, event planning, or catering arrangements unless otherwise indicated. The purchaser is responsible for researching all applicable passport and visa requirements on foreign travel packages.
Dinners and catered events do not include beverages, taxes, or gratuities unless otherwise stated.
Buyer will receive a certificate with main contact information for prize redemption for each purchased auction lot post event. Shipping arrangements should be made with the main contact. Please allow for a week’s time to receive your certificates.
