2020 KEEPING ARTS ALIVE AUCTION
Friends,
We have made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person awards portion of our annual Arts Alive Awards event. Originally rescheduled from June to October 1, we considered an online event, but ultimately decided that, more than anything, we would want our honorees to have the same wonderful experience as their past and future co-honorees. Be sure to mark your calendars for June 17, 2021, as we look forward to resuming our annual event and fundraiser in person.
That said, we are not giving up on 2020, completely!
The year has been tough on everyone, and the arts and culture sector has been hit especially hard. So in celebration of the arts and in support of Summit Artspace, we are Keeping Arts Alive this year by continuing with a virtual art auction. A free event, the auction will take place Oct. 1-4 and all proceeds will benefit Summit Artspace operations and the artists they serve.

The purchaser of items in the auction will be responsible for making an appointment to pick up the item in person from Summit Artspace located at 140 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44308 or pay for the packaging and shipment via the method of their choice.

Come to Summit Artspace and enter our socially-distanced Main Gallery to see the auction items up close and in person.
Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2 from 12 -7 p.m. and Saturday, October 3 from 12 - 8 p.m. as part of Akron ArtWalk.
All attendees will have their name in a drawing for blue-tooth headphones from global company, Audio-Technica US, which has its North American HQ in Stow.
