2016 Spaghetti Dinner Art Auction

Main Article Image

Women's Lunch Place provides a safe, daytime shelter, nutritious meals, and critical support services to women experiencing homelessness and poverty.

Pre-bidding for the 2016 Spaghetti Dinner Live & Silent Auction has begun!

This year we celebrate the beauty and healing power of art as we honor Estrellita Karsh and the WLP Creative Expressions Program.

Our auction features striking artwork from notable Boston artists. These include Peter Vanderwarker, the official photographer of the Big Dig, and Jane Goldman, designer of the terrazzo floors of ocean creatures at Logan International Airport. Stunning works are offered from Pete Rogers’ gilded autumn oil painting, Mary Kocol’s icy floral photograph, and Roze Malone’s beautiful sea glass jewelry. Carter Smith, the designer to the stars, has donated a jewel colored “shibori” women’s jacket and men’s tie. Sidney Hutter’s glass candle holder will enlighten as centerpiece for the silent auction, and Nancy Schon’s “The Tortoise and the Hare” jewelry will make you smile.

There is a piece of art for every taste and medium in this collection. We invite you to browse our catalogue and bid on your favorites!

Please take this opportunity to pre-bid on items before the event and lock in your top bids if you are unable to attend in person.

Thank you for your generosity and help in supporting our community’s most vulnerable women!

Please contact Lorraine Levine with any questions.
